Fifty-Fifty ("Fifty-Fifty," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at fifty-fifty.pro (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), date of birth (used to verify you are 18+ and then discarded), and any optional profile photo.
  • Authentication data: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
  • Activity data: ad views, prize/draw outcomes, account balance, payout requests and timestamps.
  • Payment data: when you request a cash-out, we transmit minimum necessary data to Stripe Connect to process the payout. We do not store full bank account or card details on our servers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and approximate geographic location, collected for fraud prevention and analytics.
  • Ad-network data: when you watch an ad, the third-party ad provider may collect device, browser, and interaction data subject to its own privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and operate your account.
  • To credit your balance, deliver prizes, and process payouts.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
  • To communicate service-related notices (account changes, payout status, important updates).
  • To produce aggregated analytics and the public transparency dashboard. These figures are aggregated and do not identify you.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only with the service providers required to operate Fifty-Fifty, including:

  • Hosting and infrastructure: Netlify (web hosting), Neon (database), Firebase (scheduled tasks).
  • Authentication: Google (only if you choose Google sign-in).
  • Payments: Stripe Connect for cash-out payouts.
  • Advertising: our ad network providers, who deliver and verify ads.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with anyone for their independent marketing.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and prevent fraud. Our ad providers may set their own cookies subject to their privacy policies. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling them may break sign-in and payout features.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and activity data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to comply with tax, legal, and anti-fraud obligations (typically up to 7 years for financial records). You can request account deletion at any time using the contact information below; we will delete or anonymize your data unless we are legally required to retain it.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, hashed passwords (bcrypt), and access controls. No system is 100% secure. If we discover a breach affecting your information, we will notify you without undue delay as required by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your account and personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format (data portability).
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell your information, so this request is automatically honored).

8. Children's Privacy

Fifty-Fifty is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it.

9. International Users

Fifty-Fifty is operated from the United States. By using the Service from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
